Video: Fan who steps out into road to wave at camera causes ugly crash on Vuelta
Chevrier was leading the chase group on the Puerto de Tudons climb with around 43km to go as a young fan stepped out from the roadside, apparently to wave a flag at the camera and with his back to the riders. The 24-year-old Frenchman had no option but to hit the fan, and crashed heavily to the ground.
