Video: Did Quintana cheat on Mont Ventoux?
Nairo Quintana was filmed holding on to a wheel of a neutral service bike up Mont Ventoux, as Chris Froome crashed and sprinted up the mountain on foot.
Froome’s main rival to win this year’s race, was spotted grabbing the wheel as he passed by the chaos. His Movistar team argued that the 26-year-old was simply trying to maintain his balance among the wreckage of Froome, Richie Porte and Bauke Mollema’s crash.
