Video: Cyclist crashes due to heatstroke at the Qatar World Championships
With temperatures above 40C today at the Doha World Championships, there were some nasty scenes in the women’s race that may have been linked to the conditions.
Dutch rider Anouska Koster of the Rabo Liv team succumbed to heatstroke and crashes hard while she was racing the team time trial. She looked extremely disorientated as she tried to get back on her bike and other threw up in the finishing straight
