Video: Ambulance almost takes out rider at World Championships
An ambulance came into close proximity with eventual winner German Marco Mathis during the U23 time trial at the UCI Road World Championships, nearly colliding with the rider in a roundabout.
The ambulance, a police motorbike and police lead vehicle were in front of Mathis, with the police trying to move the ambulance ahead. But at the same time the ambulance slowed as the group approached a roundabout, nearly colliding with Mathis.
