Miguel Indurain rides at an average speed of 45.6km/h at age 52!

At the age of 52, Miguel Indurain, five times winner of the Tour de France, is still a strong time trialist.

Big Mig​​ put out some of the power that made him famous more than twenty years ago in the time trials of the Tour de France, but this time on the streets of Barcelona at the Triathlon Barcelona. He missed his old rivals, Tony Rominger, Gianni Bugno and Claudio Chiappucci, but he showed that he’s still got it.

Indurain​​ rode 20km and he crushed the opposition with a dominant performance. He stopped the click in 26’18”, almost 3 minutes faster than the second place.
