Malori ready for comeback after life-threatening crash
The Movistar Team and Adriano Malori have announced that the 28-year-old Italian has completed the recovery process following his brutal crash during stage five of the Tour de San Luis, on 22 January.
Malori will offer a press conference on Tuesday 30 August, at 11am local, in the Grand Hotel Regina in Salsomaggiore Terme (Largo Roma, 3). The Traversetolo-based rider near Parma will explain there how events have developed for him during the last seven months, and will also answer all questions from media attending the event.
In April, Adriano Malori announced on his Twitter account he was riding again on the trainer. “I felt really comfortable when I got on my bike for the first time after the accident, even if it wasn’t on the road; for me, this is like starting over again – the second part of my professional career. My recovery is going quickly: just thinking how I was one and a half months ago and at this moment… it gives me goosebumps,” explained Malori.
