2019 Giro d’Italia live stream – stage 1 (Bologna – San Luca 8.2km ITT): Saturday, 11 May, starts at 16:40pm CET (Central Europe), 10:40am U.S. Eastern.
Bologna will host the Grande Partenza of the 102nd Giro d’Italia with a hilly ITT on the first day of action. The finish lies atop the Colle della Guardia, which is expected to open up significant gaps on GC. The first Grand Tour of 2019 totals 58 kilometres of time trialing and takes in iconic climbs up the Gavia and Mortirolo, but also includes the unprecedented climb to Lago Serrù: Colle del Nivolet. The date of the Big Start is Saturday, 11 May, while the last stage – another ITT – will take place on Sunday, 2 June, in Verona.
