Today’s focus falls on 10 beautiful women from cycling! As far as their nationalities and disciplines within the sport go, these ladies represent a pretty wide variety, but something they all have in common is their determination and devotion to cycling, and of course, their good looks!
10. Lokelani McMichael
Lokelani McMichael is an American triathlete, surfer and model. In October 1995, she became the youngest female to finish the Hawaii Ironman.
Lokelani McMichael, whose real name is Lokelaniku’uleimakamae, entered her first Ironman triathlon in 1995. She was 18 years old, and she beat out about 48,000 people to become eligible for one of the 2,000 or so spots in the 140.6-mile triathlon. The achievement also put her into the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest woman ever to finish the Ironman.
09. Hanka Kupfernagel
Hanka Kupfernagel (born 19 March 1974 in Gera, Thuringia) is a German professional cycle racer. She has won major road, track and mountain bike races. She has won seven consecutive medals at the UCI Women’s Cyclo-cross World Championships, including three gold medals for 2000, 2001 and 2005; the silver medal in 2002 and 2003; and the bronze medal in 2004.
08. Willow Koerber
As her name suggests, Willow Koerber is a bit of a free spirt. Her Twitter profile says she’s a “Professional Mtn. bike racer, woman, lover, friend, wife, jaguar, crystal lover, mother to be, magic maker, 2 time Bronze medalist, fighter, healer, more..”.
07. Lynn Gaggioli
Lynn Gaggioli has been turning heads (because of her cycling and her attractiveness) since she burst onto the pro cycling scene back in 2003. For obvious reasons, there was a time that Lynn thought she might be a model. Personally, I’m glad she went with cycling. I don’t know what it is, but it just seems like she wouldn’t be as hot if she were just some boring model.
06. Rochelle Gilmore
Rochelle splits her time between the road circuit and the track World Cup. The 34-year-old Australian hottie has retired from cycling last year.
05. Jenny Fletcher
After a long successful modeling career, in 2010 Jenny chose to take her hobby of competing in triathlons to the professional level. She has aspirations to someday represent her home country of Canada in the Olympics.
04. Niki Gudex
Niki Gudex (born 19 July 1978, Guildford, England) is an Australian professional mountain biker from Sydney. She competes in both downhill and cross country disciplines.
In addition to being a professional mountainbiker, Gudex is also a model and a graphic designer. In the Australian edition of FHM magazine she has been listed in the 100 Sexiest Women in the World in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
03. Emily Batty
The 27-year-old pro mountain biker simply says on her website, “I Started riding bikes with family for leisure, then it turned into racing, racing led to my passion, and now its my career. Follow me in the chase for my dreams. Every goal I can imagine I want to achieve, I can’t do it on my own.”
02. Liz Hatch
Elizabeth Hatch is born on June 3, 1980 in America. She began racing in 2006 and made her first trip to Belgium that summer. Hatch became the first member of the Vanderkitten Racing team in 2007 but was released in the middle of 2009.
